I get it—booking a photo session can feel like a lot of moving parts! Whether you’re worried about what to wear, how the kids will behave, or how we’ll wrangle all 20 family members into one frame, I’ve got you.
As a mum of two from a massive family (yep, 17 nieces and nephews!), I’ve seen it all. I’ve lived the 'beautiful chaos' and the 'newborn fog,' so my goal is to make this the easiest part of your week.
Below are the most common questions I get asked. If your question isn’t here, just reach out—I love a chat!
1. What should we wear for our family photo session? I recommend wearing comfortable, neutral-toned clothing that blends beautifully with Noosa’s natural surroundings. Soft pastels, earthy tones, and light fabrics work especially well for beach or bushland locations. Try to coordinate outfits without being too “matchy.” Avoid bold patterns or logos, as they can distract from your photos. Need help? I’m happy to provide styling advice before your session to make sure everyone looks and feels their best.
2. Where will our photo session take place? You can choose a location or just chat with me about options. Beach sessions are great at any time of day- especially sunset! We can also go on a forest walk, Noosa Botanic Gardens or at your accomodation. I'm happy to take you hiking in the National Park and take photos as we go too! We’ll chat ahead of time to choose a location that suits your family’s style and vibe. Some of my favourite spots include the Noosa River mouth and Sunshine Beach for their stunning natural beauty.
3. How do we book a session, and how far in advance should we schedule? Booking is easy! Simply contact me here or give me a call at 0419 397 726. If you’re visiting Noosa on holiday, I recommend booking early in your trip so we have flexibility in case of weather changes. Popular times (like school holidays) book out quickly, so it’s best to reserve your spot as soon as possible.
4. What happens after the photo session? Once your session is complete, you’ll receive a private online gallery within TWO WEEKS where you can view, select, download, and share your images. From there, you can also choose to upgrade and receive all images in your gallery as well. You can then print, share and enlarge your images.
5. How long will it be until I receive my gallery? I offer a TWO WEEK guarantee, so you will receive your images in a private online gallery within two weeks of your photos session. I know you'll be excited to see them, so I like to offer a fast turnaround!
At the end of the day, please don't sweat the small stuff. If the toddler has a meltdown, the newborn needs an extra feed, or the wind messes up your hair—it’s okay.
